Colorado Mass Shooting Suspect Described As 'Recluse'

(AP Photo/Denver Post, RJ Sangosti, Pool). This photo combination shows a variety of facial expressions of James E

Last Thursday evening at the midnight premier of The Dark Knight Rises, the most recent adaptation of comic book super hero Batman played by Christian Bale, 24 year old James Holmes became a mass murderer at a Colorado movie theater.  Described as a “recluse” by neighbors, James Holmes became infamous for entering a movie theater with four weapons; two pistols, a shotgun and an assault rifle, all which were purchased legally.  Described as intelligent, quiet, introverted, and nice by fellow classmates, neighbors and even his former college chancellor it seems no one really knew what James Holmes was capable of.  Until recently he was a PhD medical student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and also holds an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience.  It is still unknown why he withdrew from school.
I think it is clear that James Holmes is suffering from mental illness to have done something like this.  It is becoming clear that no one really knew him well or what he was capable of doing.  One thing we do know is that in addition to being quiet and unassuming he was also very smart.  The biggest sign that he was dealing with some kind of problem in his life was his withdrawal from the medical program. While legal, his ownership of so many dangerous guns should have also revealed a potential problem if he was not an active hunter.

LOBSTER GLUT, LOW PRICE LEAVE BOATS HIGH AND DRY

Maine is the most famous place for lobsters in the USA. The summer is the suitable season

that a lot of lobster are land in Maine so that this a very good news for customers, and food retailers

but it will be changed if there are 5,000 lobtermen in the state. To support a living, a lot of lobtermen

have to catch lobsters and the price of selling it back is very low which is not enough to make a

living. Spear is lobtermen who get paid nearly equal to the half amount that he got paid in the last few years ago and he also says that " the price of bailt, fuel, and labor, it costs him nearly $500 a day just

to check his traps" is expensive but it brings a lot of benefit to the business

places because consumers look for low price lobsters. A twin lobster is just under $16 different than

last summer, the cost was nearly $30 for the similar meal. There are about 300 customers a day

leads the business is strong.

I think this article is very entertaining of how Maine is the great place for lobster and I love to eat sea foods.

Taxes, Jobs And Jabs: Obama And Romney Slug It Out In Swing States

The article “Taxes, Jobs and Jabs: Obama and Romney Slug it Out in Swing States”  by Padmananda Rama summarizes what Democrat President Obama and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney have discussed with citizens of Iowa and Colorado as they campaign to gain votes for the upcoming presidential election.  Both states are considered swing states, which means either nominee, could win.  This entire article discusses how the other candidate is wrong and that the other side is the reason for “the stalemate in Washington”.  Both focus their argument heavily on employment and taxes and both Obama and Romney support extending the “Bush-era tax cuts” except Obama places calls for higher taxes for wealthy Americans.
I chose this article because both of political parties have very different view points on how the country should be run and tells us that it is the other side’s fault why the U.S. economy struggles.  I am surprised by the lack of support for the President, Mitt Romney attacks what he has done and says he can do better.  Instead of working together and compromising nothing seems to get done to help the economy, just political fights.

President Obama Thanks Military Heroes at Fourth of July Celebration

to veterans and other people currently serving in the U.S. military.  Although it was very hot President Obama

made a speech to recognize the importance of Independence Day and provided food, candy and a concert by

Brad Paisley to everyone there.  It was nice for President Obama and the first lady to take the time to hold such

a celebration for these veterans.  To be called a hero by the President sounds like a great honor.

Why You Shouldn't Panic About Pesticide In Produce

The Environmental Working Group (EWG)

worried about vegetables and fruits that have pesticide residues.

Joseph schwarcz , director of the office for science and society at

McGill university in Montreal.

The article Says: the Apple its most contaminated fruits of pesticide

residues then followed by celery and red peppers

EWG says for customer to buy organic products and by eating

organic products , consumers can lower their exposure to  pesticides
.
But that doesn't mean to stop eating Fruits and vegetables because

fear about pesticides

The article says: the database, maintained by the U.S. Department of

Agriculture, shows that just 1 of 744 apple samples it tested had a

pesticide residue level higher than government  limit .

In my opinion I believe that if we eat organic foods its much better than fruits and

vegetables with  pesticide residues because it will make us healthier in the future.

Farmers must reduce the pesticides used residue on vegetables and fruits (why

must they???).  This article is important because everyone must eat vegetables

and fruits to live and its effects everyone's future health.  I know sometimes

organic food is expensive but if you think about it , its good if you pay a a few more

dollars today than to spend much more money for your hospital bills in the future

especial in U.S.A. where healthcare is expensive.
